Frequently Asked Questions
So, when is the market?
The 2013 season will begin on March 23 from 10:00-2:00.
Where is the market?
The market is located in the wooded loop in front of Briney Hall at Douglass Boulevard Christian Church. Here is a map so you can find us.
Do you guys take debit and credit cards?
Yes and no. There is an ATM readily accessible — right across the parking lot, on the backside of the PNC bank — but some of our vendors do take credit cards so please ask them for details.
What do your growers and vendors sell?
Everything varies by the season, but you can count on these things on a regular basis: meats (beef, chicken, pork, goat, veal), cheeses, breads of all kinds, jams, jellies, and all the wonderful goodness they bring us each week.
Most salad fixings should be readily available but it all varies depending on what is in season and what is the best to bring to market.
Do local businesses support the Douglass Loop Farmers Market?
We are so glad you asked. We get great support from local businesses. Here they are. Please consider supporting them.
How do I keep up with the most recent DLFM-related news?
I just want a place to hang out.
Well, we've got you covered. During the regular market we've got picnic tables in the shade and live music in a family-friendly atmosphere every weekend. We've worked very hard to make it a welcoming environment for everyone of all ages, even our four-legged friends.
I want to become a vendor. What should I do?
I want to organize a special event in conjunction with the market.
Thank you for thinking of us! Please contact us with the details.
